11/07/2005: "Motorcycle Stamps Update"

Further to the article we posted on the upcoming release of some motorcycle focused stamps from Royal Mail, we have some more information to add. The stamps and first day covers will be released on the 19th July in UK Post Offices, along with postcards and presentation packs at most offices too. You can enquire about how to get hold of first day covers with special postmarks at your local Post Office. You can also get hold of these first day covers, and view pictures of the upcoming stamps, on this page: http://www.norvic-philatelics.co.uk/2005/biker.htm and be sure to getyor orders in before the 17th of July.

The stamp images include those of a Vincent Black Shadow, a Norton F1, Royal Enfield, Triumph Speed Twin and a range of stamps devoted to the Velocette centenary.
